What is a degraded art nail?
The principle of the nail gradient is to create a subtle melt between several varnish shades The Commission has not yet taken any action to ensure that the measures taken are taken in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No 796/2005. The colours must merge without distinction of demarcation. The result is fascinating: the degraded manicure emits a crazy energy, produced by this delicate and harmonious transition from one color to another.
With this color gradient technique, creative possibilities are endless in both colour combinations and style variations:
- In vertical version : the gradient visually lengthens the hands.
- In horizontal version : it offers a graphic and modern look.
- In shaded version : with a dark shade on the free edge and a lighter at the base, it brings depth and relief.
- In Baby Boomer nail version : one Revised in which the smile of the French manicure blends with the basic color for a transition between nude and white chic and delicate. The must for a wedding manicure.
- In Aura nails version : it creates a luminous halo in the centre of the nail that gives an illusion of depth.
Whether you are a short nail team or XXL claws, the degraded nail art adapts to all desires and styles of manicure, even the most minimalist. The choice of an ultra-personalized manicure that will leave no one indifferent.

What are the mistakes to avoid with nail gradients?
A few fatal mistakes can ruin all your efforts. So what should we be careful about?
Choosing colors: Avoid the chords of shades too close
For a gradient in 2 colours, prefer to Additional colours (light/flow, hot/cold). For a gradient of 3 or more colors, choose your 2 complementary colors + 1 or 2 intermediate colors to make a smooth and harmonious transition.
Set of colors on sponge: do not separate colors
On the contrary, juxtapose your features or touch colors so that at the application they can blend with each other without demarcation.
Another important point: Avoid putting too much varnish on the sponge, this may produce a derogatory "pâté" effect.
Sponge handling: do not rub sponge on nail
The right move is to gently buffer with a regular vertical movement, always on the same area. It is better to tap several times with little material, rather than leaving visible marks. Also be careful to do not overlay colors buffering, which would cancel the desired effect.
Finish: don't neglect the final touch
With the sponge, the overflow of colors on the contour of the nail is inevitable. It is imperative that clean the nail edge thoroughly for a clean and elegant rendering. And to enhance your nail art, the glossy or matt finishes top costs are highly recommended.
