FAQs

The most frequently asked questions by our users and our community!

I've never set a semi-permanent, is it complicated?

The Green Flash™ app is accessible at all levels, especially for beginners!

If you can apply classic nail polish, you can apply Green Flash™: application of base, color and top, the only difference is in the drying under lamp!

If you know how to apply semi-permanent, there is some information to take into account: the Green Flash™ application is more similar to that of a classic nail polish, there is no need to degrease the material, and the varnish is not modulable as gel so you have to do the right gestures as soon as possible. the departure.

We recommend that you put it down as if it were a classic nail polish that you have to pass under a lamp to dry!

Is Green Flash™ compatible with another brand?

Unfortunately no, each formula is unique, and the compositions are different. Our Green Flash™ products should therefore only be used with Green Flash™ products to guarantee results. You must at least:

  • A Green Flash™ Coat Base
  • One color Green Flash™
  • A top coat Green Flash™
  • A minimum LED lamp 24W

For controlled removal, it is strongly recommended to use the Green Flash™ Bio-Foured Dissolvent Water and associated clamps.

Note that:
Using a Green Flash™ color with a base and top of another semi-permanent/classic nail polish brand will not work.
Using a Green Flash™ base with a color and top of another semi-permanent/classic nail polish brand will not work.
etc.

What is the difference between a classic nail polish and Green Flash™?

The peel-off withdrawal: withdraw home, without acetone, without rubbing, without sanding!

Immediate drying: under LED lamp, finished the hooks during drying!

Bio-sourced ingredients: up to 84%, vegan and non-toxic (for real)!

Long hold 12 days!

What is the difference between a traditional semi-permanent and Green Flash™?

The peel-off withdrawal: withdraw home, without acetone, without rubbing, without sanding!

Immediate drying: under LED lamp of at least 24W, on a frequency least harmful to nails compared to UV lamps!

Bio-sourced ingredients: up to 84%, vegan and non-toxic (for real)!

Held up to 12 days: According to a survey, our clients like to have the opportunity to remove and change colors after 12 days, rather than let the nails grow for 1 month while returning to the aesthetician!

Can the use of Green Flash™ varnishes lead to allergies?

The formula Green Flash™ is in accordance with European regulations and contains no sensitizing substances such as methylacrylate monomers, HEMA, acryate, titanium or nickel found in many classic semi-permanent varnish formulae. It is also attested gluten-free and safe for gluten- and celiac-intolerant people, as well as Green™, Active™ and care ranges. Most clients who have experienced allergies with conventional semi-permanent varnishes do not use Green Flash™ varnish. However, since allergic events are not specifically related to chemical ingredients, they may sometimes occur with bio-sourced ingredients. If you are reluctant to take a medical note, please consult your doctor's advice.

The top coat Xtrem Flash™The Commission has been able to draw up a report on the implementation of the European cosmetic regulations, among the most demanding in the world. As with any gel, however, reactions may occur in people already sensitized, most often due to poorly catalyzed residues or excesses on the skin. To minimize this risk, we accompany our clients with a specific application protocol: apply fine layers, remove any overflow on cuticles before catalysis, and catalyze the inches separately to avoid material movements. This support ensures a serene use of our top coat.

For more information, we recommend reading our blog post about allergies.

Can I use Green Flash™ with a UV lamp I already have?

Each lamp can have a different power and a specific catalysis time for optimal results.
Our Green Flash varnishes have been tested with our lamps to guarantee a long and pretty outfit.

Recommended catalysis times depend on your lamp model:

  • For our LED lamp 36W (Premium lamp): 1 minute for base, 1 minute for colour layer, 2 minutes for top coat.
  • For our LED lamp 24W (Slim lamp): 2 minutes for base, 2 minutes for colour layer, 3 minutes for top coat.
  • For a 48W LED lamp 1 minute for the base, 1 minute for each colour layer, 1 minute for the top coat.

We have not determined the appropriate catalysis time for lamps of other powers, so we cannot guarantee the results with these lamps.
It is essential that respect the recommended catalysis times to get the desired result!

Can I use another Green™ processing base under my Green Flash™ varnish?

Unfortunately no, our Green processing bases are compatible only with the products of our Green™ range. The Green Flash™ manicure must be made with the Green Flash™ base. But you can apply a processing base between your Green Flash™ manicures to help your nails care!

How can I prevent brush strokes from appearing on my Green Flash™ manicure?

The Green Flash™ must be applied in 3 strokes and in very thin layers, this prevents brush strokes! To remove the right amount of material: scrape the brush stick against the inside of the bottle neck to remove excess material.
Then wipe the material on one of the two sides of the brush. There must be only a little drop on the brush tip! Then re-sprung a drop for each finger.

How to refresh the shine of my Green Flash™ manicure after a few days?

If you have a Green Flash™ manicure, you can apply a layer of our Color Refresher over your manicure after a few days. You don't need to catalyze it, it dries in the open air.

From what age can the semi-permanent Green Flash™ varnish be used?

The Green Flash™ varnish can be used from 16 years old.

Can pregnant and/or nursing women use Green Flash™ products?

The health of all is at the heart of our priorities! Although up to 84% of them are bio-sourced, our products have not been specifically tested on pregnant or nursing women. As a precaution, we advise you to talk to your health care professional about this, who can best guide you according to your situation.

How do I remove my semi-permanent varnish without damaging my nails?

With Green Flash™, withdrawal is simple, fast and without damage to nails.

Stir in a soft Green Flash™ solvent cotton, apply it to the nail with a pull-off clip and let it sit for a few minutes.

The varnish is naturally released. If necessary, gently remove the residue with a stick.

No need to rub, trim or rip: the formula is designed to easily withdraw from home.

Finish with cuticle oil to nourish and enhance your nails.

Tip: Some highly pigmented shades may require a slightly longer time to place.

How long does a semi-permanent varnish hold and how can it be improved?

Under normal conditions, a Green Flash™ manicure lasts up to 21 days with the Top Coat Xtrem Flash™, depending on the preparation of the nail and your lifestyle (water, cleaning, sport, manual work...).

If your varnish gets off quickly, it comes most often from one of these points:

- application on cuticles or skin (the varnish rises on the edges)
-undegreased nail
- too thick layers
-Incomplete catalysis or inadequate LED lamp

The right reflexes to optimize the fit:

-well degrease nail before laying
- apply fine and regular layers
- Avoid spilling over the skin
-limiting shocks and wearing gloves for household tasks (especially within the first 24 hours).

How do I put my semi-permanent varnish on?

For a clear, brilliant and long-lasting result, everything is played in the preparation and fineness of the layers.

Prepare your nails: line up according to the desired shape, gently push back cuticles, slightly mattify the surface and degrease.

Apply the Base Coat Green Flash™ in a thin layer and catalyze under LED lamp.

Apply your color in 1 to 2 thin layers (2 thin layers for a homogeneous rendering), catalyzing between each.

Finish with the Top Coat Green Flash™ for up to 12 days, or the Top Coat Xtrem Flash™ for up to 21 days and a frosty effect. Catalyse and apply cuticle oil.

Tip: Remove any overflow immediately before catalysis for a perfect contour.

I was hesitating to try

"I was hesitant to try Orme because it的s hard to get a read on the color from lighting in different photos. I was dressed it might look a little on the yellow khaki side on my skin. But it is a beautiful soft milky light brown. Definitely looks like milk in coffee. It is very soft and sophisticated."

This is my first time

"This is my first time using Manucurist and I must admit that I'm extremely eager. All my life I had great fingernails until I hit my 50's. Nail polish would last two days, if I was lucky. My nails became rigged, would break below the quick and split from the tip even though I file in one direction. I stopped weather polish but no amount of cream or oil helped. I finally decided to get a manicure gel. It looked good, but when the manucurist was removing the gel she literally tore it and top of my entire nail off. So I'm gave up polish. Besides, I have no patience to sit in a salon. So I decided to try Manucurist and a popular brand of semi-secured nail polish stripes. I sorted Manicurist first. The Good: I was amazed that it washed without chips from Dec 31st until February 2nd. They looked like I had just go to the salon. I also loved how easy it was to remove and didn't damage my nails. The Good but Not as Good:I found it difficult to get smooth coverage trying to apply that costs. I wish the polish could be a little thinker. The semi-secured gel nail straps The Good:lots of colors and designs to choose from. You get enough for 2 manicure. The Not so Good: a little more time-consuming to position on the nail. A little more time-consuming to position on the naii. You are assumed to select a size that's a little small small than the nail is because you can stretch it. My problem is I have very narrow nailbeds so even the smallst was too wide for my little pinkies and there wasn't one that did my thumb nails without trimming the sides. You have to make sure you sell the remaining nails well or they will dry up and you need to warm them to make them more foldable to stretch. They are assumed to last 10 days or so. I just put them on day so we'll have to wait to see. But, even if they do last for 10 days, that's nothing compared to Manucurist. Of course, if you want to change your policy frequency it won't matter to you. I hate doing my nails, so the longer my polish lasts, the hooker I am. I suppose that I should mention that I'm 72 years old.
